RGM-79Q GM Quel HG 1/144

Project for the weekend of March 3-4th, 2012. Great quality all around. awesome colours and great decal designs. Only issue I wanted to complain about is the lack of closed fist and the general build of the hands. The trigger finger hands are horrible holding anything. They easily come apart if you try to move the gun. The beam sabre hand also comes apart if you try to equip the beam sabre. I got past these issues with glue, though I shouldn’t have to. Other then that great looking kit, all it needs now is a spray of topcoat.

This guy turned out pretty bad ass.

The Age-2 hg kit is a fun kit to build great plastic qauilty. Took about 8hours to build/line due to building and watching tv/anime. My side cutter broke during this build…good night.

AMX-011 Zaku III High Grade 1/144 - Lined

Cleaned up the Zaku III a bit. Lined him, due to the really old plastic it was hard inking the lines due to the poor adhesion to the surface. Well it is a 12 years old kit. Maybe if I painted it it wouldn't look so bland. A coat of topcoat is needed to get this guy shininess down a level. An all right kit for the money.

This kit was a blast to make. Tons of poly caps so articulation is great. A good number of clear plastic for weapons and body parts. One thing i did not like about this kit was the eye foils could have been better. This guy still needs the lining to be done, that will be for another day.

Backlog as of Feb 18, 2012

Long weekend here in Alberta, Cheers! My Current backlog as of Feb 18, 2012. Going to build the QAN[T] Gundam next or the Age-2. The Dorado will be built by my little brother, he has a fondness towards the enemy suits of Age Gundam. The Mk2 Titans is very far back on my list of to do gunpla.

This High Grade WMS-GEX1 G-Exes 1/144, wasn't built by me but rather my little brother. I did however line him. Pretty nice kit only downside is the hand covers are too easily popped out.

This guy is one of my personal favourites, building him was awesome. He was the second kit after a very long hiatus of 6 years. The age-1 design is pretty nice, lines are noticeable and the Gundam feels solid. Its a High Grade kit so the scale is 1/144.
